Make All the Things Done

“Much of the stress that people feel doesn’t come from having too much to do. It comes from not finishing what they started.”David Allen

So you must simply getting started and taking action instead of talking, discussing things and doing nothing. That is one of the most common things that make you stopping improving your lives. The solution is you must keep going until something is finished. Keep going!!

I found 3 solution to help me.  Today I would like to share to you.

Make your priority

But first, you must make priority to your tasks. Is it important & urgent, important but not urgent, not important but urgent, or not important and not urgent. After you understand the priority of all your task then you can decide what task must be done first. Of course the important and urgent first.

Set a deadline to your task

Deadline is important to keep you make progress. Setting a deadline gave me a kick in the butt and it is generally a good way to help you to let go of a need to polish things a bit too much. I try to write an article a day.

Use limits and rituals to keep you focus

By setting limits for how often you read book, check email each day, how much time you spend on social networks and forums, how much time you take to make small everyday decisions you can over a month or two develop these things into habits that run automatically most of the time.

For example you can limit your own checking of email, Facebook, watch TV etc, to one ritual at the end of your workday where you can  just string all the checking together into one 20-30 minute session. This allows you to get the creative parts and the most important tasks of the day done early in the day when you are rested and focused and it prevents you from getting lost in everything else.

By incorporating limits like these into your lifestyle you are less likely to get distracted during the last part of the work and you can keep your eye on what’s important.
